Contract Specs

Each commodity is different. There are even different delivery months of the same commodity. Understanding the futures contract specifications is at the heart of knowing the rules that govern trading a commodity futures contract, as well as the price movement value of each commodity.  You can also find at the bottom of the futures specifications page the letter that represents the commodity contract month.

Margins

Margins can and do change.  To verify a specific margin requirement we strongly suggest that you contact your commodity broker to determine the most recent margin required for the futures oe commodity market you are going to trade.

Futures Trading Calendar

An excellent calendar for futures / commodity traders.  Check to see when the key economic or agricultural report is to come out.  Know ahead so as a trader you can take the necessary action to number one protect yourself and number two, take advantage of the report information.
